Criteria for Selection of Fellows


Candidates are selected on the basis of achievement in undergraduate, medical school and residency, letters of recommendation, and personal interview. The selection committee consists of the program director and members of the teaching faculty. Interviews are scheduled by invitation from the program director.

 

Program Accreditation


The Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Ascension Providence Hospital is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education to offer 3 years of training in gastroenterology.

 


Application Process


​Thank you for your interest in the 3-year Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program at Ascension Providence Hospital.  Application for GI Fellowship positions will be accepted through the ERAS Universal Application.  Applications are processed through ERAS ONLY. Paper applications will not be accepted. For further information regarding ERAS contact one of the following:

Additional information:

  • Foreign medical graduates are accepted. U.S. clinical experience is required for applicants.
